Or why it's probably best, on the whole, to get your comedy from newspaper columnists and TV writers rather than electing politicians to major positions of power on the basis of their comedy value.
I'm sorry London, I feel responsible. I should never have imagined that it was safe to leave you to your own devices. Please, please make sure not to elect too many more Tories while I'm gone. I know they can seem appealing sometimes with their floppy hair and their not being New Labour, but the truth is they're still Tories and we still haven't recovered from the last time we let them run shit.
